It took more than a year, but Amy Schumer’s NYC Apartment has finally found a new owner. Despite taking a loss on the sale, Schumer is staying cool in her new 4,500 square foot Malibu beach house.
Amy Schumer has finally found a buyer for her Upper West Side penthouse apartment. The 850 square foot co-op occupies the top floor of a 20-foot-wide brownstone a few minutes west of the American Museum of Natural History.
Not many buyers were drawn to the fourth-floor walk-up’s gentle charm, despite interior details including multiple skylights, two wood-burning fireplaces, built-in bookshelves, a master bathroom with a clawfoot soaking tub, and an interior staircase that leads to the gorgeous roof terrace.

Schumer decided to re-list the apartment this past September with a new broker and an asking price of $1.625 million. She didn’t find a buyer for the home until late December, with full details on the transaction only recently becoming clear. Amy Schumer’s NYC apartment has gone to a financier for $1.62 million, a $70,000 loss for the “Trainwreck” star.

A 4,500 square foot glass-walled duplex penthouse atop 190 Riverside Drive has upstaged Amy Schumer’s NYC apartment. She spent $12.147 million for the prime perch in the prewar building. It’s hard to compare to her previous penthouse, but we certainly consider this new act an upgrade.
