Awards: 52 wins and 51 nominations

Stigwood Avenue, the location of the home on the show, does not exist in NYC. Not in Queens. Not in Brooklyn. Not in Manhattan. For this reason, people have debated for decades about where the show was filmed and where the show takes place. The award-winning show was set in Brooklyn Heights but it paid homage to Manhattan by using the facade of 10 St. Lukes Place as the show home’s exterior, and also to Queens by filming interior apartment scenes atKauffman Astoria Studios. -unanimous sigh of relief-
