Supermodel Tyra Banks is selling her Battery City Park for a mere $17.5 million. Seems like a small price to pay for living in the clouds.

Tyra Banks, the international superstar and creator of America’s Next Top Model (ANTM), has put her massive duplex on the market for $17.5 million. Banks hasn’t been enjoying the heavenly views in recent years, as she’s been in California where her makeup company, Tyra Beauty, is headquartered. Since 2015, Banks has rented out the apartment for a paltry $50,000 a month.

The new America’s Got Talent host did extensive renovations to the 7,000 square foot duplex, which is actually a combination of four separate apartments. The renovations, which according to Banks cost almost as much as the original $10.13 million she paid for back in 2009, include… a lot. Imported wood, oak floors, surround sound speakers, a personal gym, and a salon are just some of the many renovations that Banks has introduced to the Battery City Park space.

Additionally, the renovations were implemented to prioritize privacy, which was paramount to the former daytime television star.

New amazing ideas just kept coming and coming to me.  – Banks.

As such, the renovations were delayed by nine months thanks to the continued additions.

The main draw of this 5-bedroom, 5-bath, and 3-half-bath apartment isn’t just the prospect of seeing Leonardo DiCaprio (or being able to say he’s your neighbor), but also, the views. In the entertainment room, you can watch Tyra’s ANTM or turn and see the Statue of Liberty. From the gym, you can break a sweat while enjoying views of Midtown Manhattan.

So if you’re in the market for a new place, check out this Battery Park City masterpiece. If you’re not interested in the serene space or the gorgeous views, becoming friends with Leo is a pretty good incentive.
